A very loud explotion suspected to be from an improvised explosive device IED occured at a moto pack in Jimeta Yola, Adamawa State Capital around 8pm last night.
Premium Times reports that a witness named Mohammed Dansabe says that the blast which happened close to the vegetable market and at the time that tradeers were closing shops for the day, was so lound it could be heared all over the city.
Dead bodies were scattered everywhere while the injured are were being picked up and rushed to the hosputal.
It will be recalled that a similar explosion occured in October, in the same Yola, the capital of Adamawa State, raising concerns about the security of that city.
