For some time now, there has been an ongoing debates about issues relating to university and polytechnic educational certificates, upgrade of polytechnics and colleges of education to degree-awarding institutions etc.

Workplace analysts have also observed that there are obvious differences in the work output delivered by graduates from those aforementioned institutions. They agree that the quality of work done is apperently proportional to the type of institution an individual had his/her formal studies.
