Imo state governor, Rochas Okorocha has reportedly sacked over 3000 staff of the Imo state ministries, parastatals and agencies of government.
It will be recalled that Rochas had earlier warned the staff to brace up for such exercise as the state's monthly allocation keeps dwindling due to the harsh economic situation of the nation of Nigeria..

RTM reports that the state chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress has asked affected staff to return to their duty posts and continue with their work in a daring move to annul Governor Rochas's actions.
