The proposed national mass protest against electricity tarrif increase in Nigeria was held today across the states of the country by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC).
In the nation's capital Abuja, the NLC protested at the Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) headquarter Office, Zone 4 Wuse, Abuja before proceeding to NERC office.
In Awka, Anambra state capital, the NLC together with other trade unions protested, matching the busy Zik's road to EEDC Office in Awka.
Similarly, reports has it that many other state capitals witnessed massive protests against hike in the Tarrif on electricity in Nigeria.
