A member of Saint Peter’s Catholic Church, Ejigbo, Lagos, has been arrested for allegedly stealing money from the church’s offering box. The suspect, identified simply as Kingsley, was apprehended by the church’s private guards Tuesday and N5,000, which he allegedly stole, recovered from him. Preliminary investigation showed that Kingsley had earlier been arrested for same offence. He had gone to church on Tuesday for the regular morning mass.
While other worshippers left after the service, Kingsley stayed behind, pretending to be having personal prayer time. Thereafter, he reportedly went to where the offering box was kept, brought out a glue-coated stick and dipped it inside the offering box.
When he pulled it out, some money got stuck to the stick. On his way out of the chapel, one of the private security men, who saw him taking the money, searched him and recovered N5,000. He was subsequently taken to the parish priest, who directed that he should be released on compassionate grounds.
Arrested However, on getting home, Vanguard gathered an argument over his misdemeanour ensued between him and his wife. He then beat his wife. The assault on his wife was reported at the Ejigbo Police Division and he was arrested. During investigation, the suspect blamed his conduct on his inability to take care of his pregnant wife.

Not minding the fact that introverts can be extreme loners, practical people with inability to express theirselves and they get the phobia of kissing and hugging or even holding hands in public, here are some reasons to be with an introvert guy.. they're amazing!!
Great listeners. My boyfriend helps me a lot by just listening to me. You know when you want some one to just hear you out and only advice when asked for, Introverts are ever ready for that.
Very Intelligent. Very clichéd sentence but trust me they are intelligent. My Man solves the rubiks cube in under 2 mins. That's crazy.
No nonsense. They are the ones you can have the most meaningful conversations with, not garbage talks.
They guide you very well. Some how they see you just the way you are, and yet love you because it's beyond looks for them. They don't get blinded by love, and yet For them love means everything and they give it their all.
Not Fake. They do not pretend to like you. They either just like you or don't and will tell you straight
Love Ain't A Game . They don't fall in love easily, but They fall hard. For them love isn't a game, their Hearts are at Stake. If they tell you they love you, you better not break their heart.
Calm by nature. Would women want to be with a man who gets violent, abuses, puts her down, yells at her or with A Man who treats her like a princess, will be faithful and treat her with respect all her life. I'm sure you will choose the latter i.e The Introverted man. They can never get violent it's just not in their nature to fight, and usually are respectful towards everyone in general.
Give you space. Space is must in a relationship and introverts know how to give you that.
Stand by you. Is anything in this world worth more than some one actually standing by you through the toughest times? Introverts who are in love with you, won't back down when your in trouble, or back off because some one else says so. They fight hard to protect their loved ones.
Won't “use" you. Introverted men never woo women as a game. They are genuinely attracted to her and want to get to know her on deeper level. Yes sex is on their mind too but they will never cross their boundaries with you. Introverted women find it hard to fall for some one and when they do it's usually for life.
Honesty. Yes they are brutally honest, they will criticize you, not to hurt you but, because they really care about you . Yet they will be the first ones to come Cheer you up, Motivate you when you feel down and like a total failure.
Best friends. They are the bestest friends you can ever find. Trust me.
Loyalty. Being faithful comes to them naturally. Since they are introverted, they do not have many friends or easily make new connections. This means they do not find it hard to stay loyal and committed when in a serious relationship.

Just this morning i got a push notification to update my whatsapp to the latest version and BOOM, There goes my whatsapp from my blackberry phone.

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has warned Nigerians to desist from the use of second hand and substandard mobile phones, saying such devices pose greater risk to the users.
Executive Vice Chairman of the Commission, Professor Umaru Garba Danbatta gave the advise at the occasion marking NCC special day at the ongoing 37th Kaduna International Trade Fair.
Professor Dambatta who was represented by Hajia Maryam Bayi debunked insinuation that telecom facilities like masts and towers pose health hazards to residents around such facilities, saying cell phones, pose greater health risks than masts.
While highlighting the numerous roles of NCC towards ensuring that telecom subscribers get the best of service from their service providers, the telecoms regulatory agency said, consumers must also play their roles accordingly in other to receive quality service.
According to him, “the use of substandard and counterfeit devices, have been identified as one of the reasons for poor quality of service.
“Today, there are different types of handset in the market. Some of these devices have been used and dropped in the other parts of the world. Some are devices that did not meet international benchmarks for safety and other requirements,” he said.

Ondo State Bans Activities Of Fulani Nomadic Herdsmen, Threatens To Arrest Defaulters
Ondo State Commissioner for Environment Sola Ebiseni made the disclosure in Akure at a stakeholder meeting to deliberate on the constant clashes between farmers and the Fulani herdsmen in Ondo State.

Ebiseni said the State government had already given the Fulani herdsmen a one week ultimatum to evacuate their cattle from the main town of Akure.
He declared that any Fulani nomadic herdsman grazing cattle at night would also be considered thieves and handed over to the law enforcement agencies.
"We don't want to see the Fulani herdsmen grazing cattle within the streets of Akure, the State capital,” Mr. Ebiseni said. "Animals are not reared on the road in our own towns. They are allowed in the outskirts of the town.”
A SaharaReporters correspondent reported that a monitoring task force team from the Ministry of Environment in the State has been mandated to ensure strict compliance of the order.
"The team is also saddled with the responsibility of dealing decisively with any erring cattle rearers that would flout such order from the State government,” our correspondent reported.
Additionally, the State government resolved that cattle dealers and marketers should register as an association or body with proof of identification. The government claimed that this would help identify cattle rearers who incite trouble and violence.
Among the other major areas forbidden for Fulani herdsmen to graze their cattle in the State included: Oba ile Road, Ode-ilekun Road, Barracks/Ondo Road, Airport/Owo Road, Adofure/Idanre Road, including all permanent residential estates.
During the meeting, Akin Olotu, an environmental activist and chairman of the Agricultural Commodities Association in Ondo State, called for a proper synergy between the States in the federation and the federal government in establishing cattle ranches for the benefit of Fulani nomadic herdsmen.

The order day, Nigeria's Vice President, Professor Pastor Yemi Osinbajo declared that no new road was constructed in the last 10 yrs and many people replied him, calling him names.
However, it seems that there are plenty of truth in his Excellency's assertion.
Take a closer look at some of the most dangerous roads to travel in Nigeria at the moment:
1). Abuja-Lokoja-Okene-Kabba: If you have travelled from anywhere in the Southwest of Nigeria to Abuja through the Lokoja-Okene road in Kogi State, then you will understand that this is a road of death. Not only is this road bad, it is a haven of armed robbers. Thousands of passengers travelling the Lokoja-Okene road to Abuja or to Ondo State have been waylaid by armed bandits and dispossessed of their goods. The same can be said of the Ilorin-Kabba-Lokoja road and the Lokoja-Obajana-Kabba road among others along that same axis.
2). Lagos-Sagamu-Ore-Benin road: An analyst noted that “If there is any road in the country that has portrayed successive governments in the country in bad light as failed governments in the last two decades, it is the Lagos- Sagamu –Ore –Benin road.” This road is not only bad and terrible for motorists, it is also a den of robbers where unfortunate passengers have been robbed and raped if their vehicles break down along the road. Travelling through the road is like travelling through the valley of the shadow of death.
3). Lagos-Ibadan
expressway: Constructed in 1974, the 120-kilometre highway is the only major road linking Lagos to Ibadan and other states within and beyond the Southwest of the Nigeria. The FRSC reported that in 2012 that 775 people died in 2,075 accidents along this road. The main dangers along this major expressway linking other states to Lagos is that of unmotorable road and frequent accidents, largely caused by oil tankers and overspeeding vehicles on the expressway filled with potholes.
4) Okigwe-Umuahia road: The ever-busy Enugu Port Harcourt expressway has always been a death trap for commuters. While road contractors hired to repair and maintain the road had abandoned it due to funds not being released by the government, the roads have fallen into terrible disrepair and become a death-trap for motorists and passengers alike.
5) Otukpo-Otukpa road in Makurdi: It is true that Otukpo and Otukpa roads are both within Makurdi in Benue State, this is a major road where craters, gulley erosion, potholes, and even dare-devil robbers rule the road. From Otukpa to Otukpo, the ancestral home of Idoma kingdom; you’d be forced to dance along with your vehicle to no rhythm for close to four hours in the journey, which ought not to last for about one or 2 hours. A columnist wrote that “For regular travelers, the thought of venturing on Otukpa- Otukpo road is the beginning of a journey into uncertainties, eternity or the easiest way of booking appointment with fate and grave, nay a way of bring money for nearby coffin makers.”
6) Enugu-Awka-Onitsha road: The deplorable state of the highway linking Enugu, Awka, and Onitsha has forced hundreds of motorists to abandon the road and reroute via the old road from Udi to Awka. Several people have died in traffic accidents occurring on this
road, and it continues to be a serious headache to passengers and motorists alike.
7) Kaduna-Abuja road: The Kaduna highway links many states in the north of the country to Abuja but boasts of over 400 potholes. In fact, the state of the road bears no image of a channel that links major states in the north to the Federal Capital Territory. An 18- seater Hummer bus was once involved in a ghastly motor accident that caused the loss of 14 lives along this road – they were all burnt to death beyond recognition. The vehicle had been coming from Kano State to Abuja.

Here's a scary experience of an MSc student working as a contract staff in one of those banks in Lagos Nigeria.
I resumed as a contract staff of a bank early last month, every one was happy for me (having waited for over two years before getting a real job). They all thanked God on my behalf.
I was eventually posted to the contact centre of the bank located somewhere in ilupeju. my first one week on the job opened my eyes to the real definition of slavery. people work like crazy, targets have to be met, and there's no closing time. as an msc student, I had thought I can combine both, but with what I'm seeing, I'm scared. even more Scarry is when you meet people there and they tell you they've been in that slavery for up to four Years.

7. Using a computer centre operator/friends to complete your application: You know yourself better than anyone else, do not hire a computer centre operator or engage your friends to apply on your behalf.
8. It is highly competitive:Thousands of candidates apply for scholarship schemes regularly. This means a good chance that you are not selected even after meeting all the requirements exists. To enhance your chance of selection, ensure your avoid these common mistakes.

This is a better development and would go a long way to curtailing the incidences of bloody clashes between communities and Herdsmen.
The Federal Government of Nigeria is importing grasses that will be used to feed cows in the northern part of the country.
Minister of Agriculture and rural development, Audu Ogbeh who made the disclosure Wednesday said this is to curtail the frequent clashes between arm bearing Fulani cattle breeders and farmers.
According to Ogbeh, the Muhammadu Buhari was setting up grazing areas in various states of the federation as a response to the clashes.
“We can’t allow cows to be roaming around anyhow,” Ogbeh said this at the Unity Fountain Abuja while addressing his Idoma tribes people who were demonstrating the massacre of the Agatu people of Benue State by the Fulani herdsmen.
Speaking also to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja, Ogbeh said that invasion and massacre of the indigenes by herdsmen was no longer acceptable to the government
He said that a formation of the Nigerian Army had been deployed to the communities to restore peace.
“Yesterday, I spoke with the Ministers of Defence and Interior and they assured me that they have deployed a military formation in Enugu to move in and restore peace in Agatu.
“Today, I will also be speaking with Mr President about this issue to ensure that the problem is solved once and for all.
The minister gave assurance that government was taking lasting steps to prevent cattle from grazing into peoples’ communities and farmlands.
He said that most of the rampaging herdsmen were from some neighbouring countries.
“We are producing massive hectares of grasslots for the consumption of cattle; we have received these grasses from Brazil and we are growing them in massive quantities.
“Cattle herdsmen want grasses for their cattle; such grass is what we are growing in large quantities and, within the next three months, some of these will be ready.
“Most of these men are not Nigerians; they come in from places like Chad.
“Recently, I was in Berlin and I met the Minister of Agriculture from Congo, who complained to me that some Chadian herdsmen also invade some communities in Congo to commit similar havocs.’’
He added that government was in the process of enacting a legislation that would control cattle grazing in unauthorised areas.
“We are also sending a bill to the National Assembly to legislate that cattle should no longer roam in our cities and villages.
“We will equally raise the issue at the level of the African Union, to compel member-countries to take steps to prevent their herdsmen from grazing into neighbouring countries.
“It will be a major international crises if we do not stop it now,’’ Ogbeh said.
Ogbeh had recently announced that the herdsmen would be made to take care of their cattle in the government created grazing areas.
“We will grow grass in the South to feed the cattle in the North, just as Saudi Arabia did,” he said.
According to the minister, if Saudi Arabia with the largest cattle ranch in the world can grow its grass for the cows in the United States of America, Nigeria should be able to do same.
Ogbeh said the government would lobby banks to peg interest rate at five per cent instead of the current nine per cent.

The school term is not a religious issue. The tendency to place a religious hue on everything is irresponsible. Pupils in Kaduna State will have their Easter break on the prescribed public holidays and return to school to conclude the second term. The curriculum is based on a 12-week term. The schools resumed for second term on 18 January and will complete the 12 weeks in April.
Kaduna State will not curtail its school term to 10 weeks. Education cannot be abridged to appease prejudice.

In Life, there are many different things people would do, although they might be wrong, but somehow, they succeed in getting away with them.
However, some others might not be as lucky as the group described above. These ones receive the biggest Disgrace even for some faults that doesn't measure up to what others did.
THESE FOLLOWING 6 THINGS WOULD BRING DISGRACE AND EMBARRASSMENT TO YOU.
1. ALCOHOL: I know some people will see this and hiss, but that is the truth, most people do abnormal things when they are drunk. last week a friend of mine, (name withheld) got drunk to stupor, when it was time for him to urinate, he went to the kitchen and urinated inside the cooking pot.
2. EXAM MALPRACTICE: OH my God, this one just happened today. my course mate was caught cheating in TEST, you need to see how she was embarassed by the lecturer and everyone was looking at her like a thief, ladypeenk will bear me witness. Her integrity was reduced to a stick of matches.
3. WOMANIZING; I remember when I used to womanize. thank God am a new creature. womanizing can lower your integrity to Zero. let me use Biblical references, see the case of judah who went out to sleep with a prostitute not knowing it was his daughter inlaw, he had no money but he gave her his belongings. when he was told she was pregnent he said they should stone her to death. but she said, judas is the owner of the pregnancy.
4. BAD GRAMMAR: it is so saddening that even the so called graduate of ENGLISH STUDIES cannnot speak english fluently. I heard a graduate giving a testimony of what happened to him. He said, I quote " area boys pursued me and they wanted to stab me....... i covered my face in shame. if you cannot speak good english it will be very hard for you to speak in public.
5. STEALING: when i say stealing, it is not related to picking someones property. therefore having sex without marriage is stealing, why? because you stole her vagina and used it. Did God permit you she shameful aspect of it is when you are caught Unclad... ask tosyne2much, i know he might be probably caught when he was in the world..... smiling.
6. UNWANTED PREGNANCY. I WON'T waste time on this, but when you mistakenly, did i call it mistake? yes because that is the normal language we use for it. when you impregnate a girl, there will be shame all over you, especially when you are poor.
