What Makes This Name "Kelechi" Synonymous With Football Excellence?

It is no longer news that Kelechi Nwakali; the play-maker and captain of the victorious Golden Eaglets of Nigeria in the just concluded Under 17 FIFA World Cup, won two individual awards; Most Valuable Player and Silver Boot Awards, aside the tournaments trophy.

However, what got me curious was that this same feat was achived at the immediate previous competition by another Kelechi Iheanacho, who now plays for the Manchester City Fc England.

Apparently, the name Kelechi (which means ThankGod) carries some real "Power" of excellence.
