Nawaaoo! Are Governors Saying That They Can't Pay Workers N18,000?


It is no longer news that the Nigerian nation is battling with dwindling value for crude and overall economic stress. In fact, this resulted in the inability of most states to pay their respective government workers their monthly salaries before they called for a bailout from the Federal Government.

The news now is that these same governors has shouted out that they are not able to pay the alraedy established N18000 minimum wage for workers, which has been ongoing before some of them were even elected. Vanguard reports that these governors disclosed that since the state allocation from the federal government has nosedived, they are finding it difficult to meet their obligations such paying of salaries and other state projects.

If this is the case, then there is a serious problem which needs serious attention. Nawaaoo! Are Governors Saying That They Can't Pay Workers N18,000?
