This was disclosed in a monitored report on Channel TV a few days ago.
It was stated that this new arrangement would ensure that electricity customers pay as they use. This is totally different from what is obtainable now were customers are made to pay bills whether electricity is in use or not.
It will also eliminate the normal fixed charge that customers pay monthly.
