Reports over the news sometime ago says that there was a
failed attempt on the life of the former president and commander in chief of
the armed forces of the federal republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Dr Goodluck
Ebele Jonathan. This incidence was said to have taken place in his home state of Bayelsa.
Former President Goodluck Jonathan who conducted the most
credible election in the history of Nigeria, gracefully conceded defeat and
honourably handed over to the incumbent president Buhari, while insisting that
his ambition is not worth the blood of any Nigerian.
For such a good-hearted patriot and father of democracy in
Nigeria to be targeted for assassination is bad and very reprehensible and
should be condemned by all.
