The incumbent governor who is also the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the Bayelsa State governorship elections; His Escellency Hon. Seriake Dickson, has just been declared the winner. In decalring Hon Dickson as the winner, the returning officer; Prof Zana gave the result as follows:
APC = 86,852
PDP = 134,998
It will be recalled that a rerun elections was scheduled and held over the weekend following the cancellation of election in the election outcome of the Southern Ijaw LGA of Bayelsa state, prompting the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to declare the election inconclusive.
