Reports from several online media, though unconfirmed, revealed that the Eritrean government ordered it's men to ensure that they marry at least two (2) or more wives or face the risk of going to jail for disobedience.
The report says that marrying just one wife is a crime punishable under the law and attracts prison sentence.
For some typical African men, this order is nothing but a blank cheque to marry as many women as their strength can carry.
