Reports coming out from Nigeria's Senate chambers confirms that the Senate has directed the Nigeria Electricity Regulatory Commission NERC to immediately suspend the ongoing implementation of hike in the Electricity Tarrif.
This is certainly a very good news to the ordinary masses of Nigeria.
It was also gathered that the Senate asked NERC to discontinue bulk metering of electricity bills.
This is a win for the people and it is hoped that NERC will comply without hesitation.
