One of the best days of a man and especially the woman is the day of marriage. In our society, we have several types of marriages including Traditional Wedding, White Wedding and Court Wedding etc. The Traditional
Marriage ceremonies called “IGBA NKWU” in Igbo speaking parts of the Nigerian
nation holds before the Church/Mosque weddings.
#SeriousMata observes as an insider that IGBA NKWU is
characterized with several dances, payment of dowries and presentation of
prescribed “must bring” items. It is climaxed with a bridal dance to the corner
were the bridegroom is seated with his relations and to present a cup “out” of
Palm Wine.
Our photograph shows that lucky and gorgeous young lady
dancing and showing us her shining white teeth, on her way to present the palm
wine to her man. This is fun and the dream of every young and matured lady;
